Bowling
After VBS I took the kids bowling. They had a total of 10 of them. 7 boys and 3 girls. (ages 16 to 6) It was a rainy day so it worked out perfectly. I got to chat with a few moms and they got to have fun with a bunch of friends for only $2 per pair of shoes. I love the free bowling program. And I love I got to sit with friends while they hung out with their friends too. What made me laugh was they had the 3 girls on one lane and the 7 boys on the other lane.

Shark
I took the boys to Nashville Shores today. Mom got us another membership for their and we love it. The boys always want me to chase them like a shark in the lazy river. Heather and I kid about how the lazy river is not lazy for us since we are having to keep up with the kids so much. The boys love it though when I play shark with them. Then we finally got B talked into going down the waterslide and now he loves them and says its the best thing there. He even got Elijah talked into going down it. They were disappointed we had to leave since it was right when Elijah went down the slide for the first time.

Baseball blog
So I have decided to write a new blog about baseball and helping my friends to give them recipes that help me have food on the table for my crazy baseball life. I love to write and we live baseball almost daily so this is my inspiration. I am hoping this will also remind me to write in this blog more often too. I just don't take the time (since I feel like I don't have any time to sit down anymore LOL). So this new blog is going to be my outlet and also my easy way to share recipes and baseball stuff with all my baseball mommas. It has me happy today that I have begun this journey. Even M said , "good Mom, you haven't been writing lately."

Writing like his momma
M has such amazing imagination. He just sat here for 15 minutes telling me about a book he's writing. He reminds me so much of me when I was his age. I use to wrote stories all the time. And his facial expressions when he tells me. I love them.

And baseball begins (again)
B has been practicing baseball all winter inside with his team. This weekend we had our first tournament. He did great in left center the first game. Catching an amazing catch and throwing it to first to make an almost double play if the kid didnt drop it. The 2 nd gsme he did great at shortstop getting a few outs and diving to stop a ball. Today they got rained out which is a shame since they had won both games yesterday.
M is practicing with a new rec ball team. He is playing left field right now. He really likes it he said but wants to be infield. It will be a complicated season getting both of them to everything. Especially with B playing in different towns.
B and his Dad read a book together since B doesn't enjoy reading. It was a favorite of Brian's when he was a kid. Its by Shel Silverstein. He seemed to like his Dad reading with him.
B got glasses on Thursday. I was worried he wouldn't like them but it went good. I thinks only because two friends recently got them. He was so excited to pick some out and he had to have the sunglasses ones for sports.

Little things
I wish I did my blog more often because I love it and its truly my heart when I take the time to write it especially as the boys get older and we keep getting more busy! I always feel like I should update all I've missed but I don't have time so I will only talk of my latest blessings. M is asleep next to me. Ten and such a good boy. His brother was picking at him so we had to separate them to sleep. Now b learned how to pick from his brother but he just happened to be the one in trouble tonight. Their dad has taught them how to pick also. Guess that's why God gives you mom and a dad. I feel thankful to be able to work part time and be with them so much. I know we miss out on expensive vacations and money to upgrade our house etc but I do remember to appreciate why we give these things up. I feel blessed to have the family and friends I have. I feel blessed to have my hubby and kids. That's all I can do is be thankful and pray I teach my kids these things. Today when my son m asked me at 10 years old if he could refill my drink when he refilled his I felt proud of him. When they both offered to give their tickets to their cousin to buy something at chuck e cheese I felt proud of them. Its the little things in life that add up to big things. We all do the best we can do with what we have. In the end I just pray my family always knows how much I love them.
