110 degrees

110 degrees when the game started.  Another Mom and I were in charge of making sure the kids were cooled off with wet towels and drank plenty of fluids in the dugout.  They won the 1st and lost the 2nd game. Now we play tomorrow morning.  Not supposed to be any cooler.  But I think it bothered the adults more then the kids since we were squirting them with water constantly!

Fun day with friends

Love this pic of B's smile.  We had a great time at our friends house today.  They have 3boys.  The older ones hardly were in the pool but the younger ones liked it.  The older ones played the Ipad. It was so hot today. They are calling for 105 for the next few days. Wow!

Wednesday

Today we went to see Nanoo's after I got off work. We suprised her with a pedifore chocolate cake.  Then when we got home the kids played with Ainsley while I scrapbooked with Ms. Jayme.  I got a few more pages of B's school scrapbook done.

Slumber Party

B is having his buddy spend the night. We went to Sonic and they got these squirt guns. They loved them for about 10minutes and then got the big guns out. They both came in the house soaked. Now they are playing Legos upstairs. Later I will put on a movie for them and hope they pass out watching it haha!  Some how I doubt it with the slushes , popsicle and popcorn they are having.

Weekend

Just returned from 3nights at the inlaws. Had a great time. Boys got to swim till their hearts content and we ate lots of great food as usual. Pork grinders, blue cheese burgers, and shabu shabu (Japanese yum food). Special treat. Boys stayed up way too late which meant I stayed up way too late!

GA

Happy to be finally getting to visit the fam in GA.  The boys went swimming and we had yummy pork sliders and ziti.  I stole this pic off of my mother in laws computer .  I love how sweet the boys look in it!

They always loved this motorcycle that we bought from the neighbors.  And this picture of the boys on their horses is priceless too!  They have always loved their cowboy hats.  They got the little horse when B went out of town for work one time and the big one came as an Easter present.  Love their expressions here!

Wednesday

B asked me today if Chuck E Cheese was real or a person. haha The boys and I went to eat at Cici's pizza tonight and then to Target to get supplies to clean the car. We sat in the parking lot at Target and cleaned the windows , armor all, vacuum etc. It was dark by the time we finished so I can't promise it's perfect! The boys came with their Dad today to my office and got their teeth cleaned. M has his first two pit cavities. They are developmental so not his fault but it is still a bummer he will have to have shots now. Tomorrow we go see Nana for a few days. We are all excited about the visit and getting to see all the family. B asked me if we were going to talk when we got there or jump in the pool first haha.

Proud of B's team for winning the championship yesterday. B was so proud showing his trophy to everyone. It is alot of time we spend doing it but its so good for him. He gets alot of training and practice and he really loves it. I was laughing because I worked till 130 today and I called the boys on my way home to tell them to get dressed by the time I got home and brush their teeth. (M answered phone at same time as his Dad) so when I got home B had on orange UT shorts and his Chicago Bears jersey. He always says that is his fav shirt and he always wants to wear sports shorts. He cracks me up. I know for a fact that I had hung it in the back of the closet because I hang stuff in the back when I just wash it so that the clothes gets worn about the same. Well he must've dug thru his closet to find it which is even funnier since he doesnt work hard usually to dress himself unless its this shirt! haha Another funny story, last night M was dancing to this new rap song that comes from the movie Let It Shine. He now wants the whole soundtrack and is slowly buying it online. He worked around the house today cleaning so he could earn the money to buy the songs. So B recorded him and then recorded himself dancing the same way. M told Daddy that he didn't get his dancing skills from him. (although I dont know where he thinks he got them haha) Then he kinda felt guilty so he told B that he dances good to his kind of music. they made me laugh their back and forth kidding. But B sent it to his Sister which I am sure gave her a good laugh too. B is such a good sport with the kids.

Fathers Day

Today is Fathers Day. We were at the ball park for B's tournament which they won 1st place in! He played left field, an inning of 3rd base and had some good hits. One time he was sent home by the coach and they almost got him out but B out ran the catcher and he ran back to 3rd and dove at the base being safe. It was such an exciting game. They were losing by 9 and after a huge pep talk from the coach they came back to win by 3. Good gift for B's fathers day ! The kids also gave their Dad a new swimming suit and a picture of them holding I (the word) Love (the word) Daddy (one pic of B holding I and them both holding a heart and then M holding Daddy) all put into a big frame of the 3 4x6 pictures. Unfortunately B is having to work some today so I took the kids to swim with some friends for a couple of hours. Now we are watching a movie. Big day.

M and I had a great time with my parents at the music festival in Henderson, KY. It was on the Ohio River. Very pretty place with jumpy things for M, good food and music. Great weather for it. We got to spend the night at a hotel which is always such a treat for M and I. B stayed home with his Dad since he had baseball practice both nights. Then Saturday we had travel ball tournament. They won one and lost one. The boys stayed the night with their Grandparents J and B and I went to a bday party cookout. Now I am off to bed so we can get up early for the next round of baseball games tomorrow.

Ball

The boys and their medals they got at their swimming "end of season" party yesterday. Today I took the boys to watch a Dr. Seuss movie at the $2 theatre. Then I took them to the ball park to watch the 2 championship games. They love the ball park.

End of season party

We had our team (B coached) baseball "end of season" party at Guys shop pool. 20minutes into the kids swimming we had them stop to eat hotdogs and sides. It started pouring about 5minutes into the kids all sitting down to eat. So we ran everything into the shop and finished the party in there. It was chaos for a few minutes but turned out good. The kids and families seemed to all have a good time. We had a great team and group of parents this season. I had collected money from the parents so the kids could get picture plaques for the coaches as a thank you. One of our coaches Guy suprised us by also getting the coaches plaques and even me for being team mom. So nice of him. The kids were all given a trophy and a medal. They were all so proud. B never took his off. He is even still sitting on the couch wearing it. He set his trophy up next to his other two plaques he has on the back of his bed so he could look at them all! When I asked him if he had fun he said ,"it was the best ever".

Weekend

The boys spent the night with their grandparents and B and I had dinner and then went to some friends to sit outside. Came home and watched a movie. Kids and I went to church this morning and then I dropped kids off at home with their Dad so I could go work concessions for B's travel ball team. Then B and kids came and were there with me for a couple hrs. The kids love the ball park.

Legos

The kids were playing Legos on the driveway and I had to take a picture because it was so cute. I love to see them play nice together!

From the mouth of a 6 year old

Sometimes the kids say something that I think ,"That has got to be in my blog tonight". And then I try so hard to remember every detail so I can put it on paper and remember it for the family to read, for me to remember some day and for the kids to relive. Tonight was one of those moments when I was laying in bed with B because he had a tummy ache. M was taking a shower and their Dad was taking apart our miserable dishwasher. I was scratching B's back (per his request like his Dad) and B looks over at me and so cute he smiles and says ,"If I had one of those magic things (meaning magic wand. I know this because he makes the motion of one) you know what I'd ask for if?" I say "what?" He says, "A machine that makes $100 bill every 1 second. That way we could have enough money for you to have massages for your back and for M and I to have toys and Legos. I'd also give 10,000 to the poor people." I love that he thought of others in this conversation!

Great Tuesday

Kids went to VBS while I cleaned the house. Then we had a great day at the pool with friends with pizza and cupcakes. Then tonight I had dinner with some girlfriends while the boys are obsessed with playing Homerun Derby with their dad. Feeling blessed.

Proud of M this season. He played 2nd base really good this year. He had such a fun season and got to get alot of outs and really shine. They played their last season game tonight.

New Years Resolution

So I was going thru the scrapbooks that M made for school and B's teacher made him. Yes, I know I finally sat down and went thru the whole thing ! (We took them to Nanoo's today so she could see them and it occurred to me I hadn't looked thru them all the way thru yet!) And I came across alot of things that made me laugh, and proud and laugh. But this is one I have to post. By M age 8 My New Years Resolution My New Years Resolution is to be nice to my brother. It is because me and my brother fight alot. I usually win though. haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaa They crack me up the things they say and think.
