Apple day
For some reason all of a sudden my site looked different and I couldnt figure out how to get into it but I finally figured it out. Anyway, helped in B's classroom today for their apple day party. They learned all about them and tasted many different things that people sent in. The kids are all so sweet and run up to me to talk to me. Unlike M, B says "It kinda gets on my nerves because ALL the kids have to tell me you are here." He loves that I am there but wants only one person to tell him I am here haha. His class is very sweet and funny. Then A came over to play with the boys while J and I scrapbooked. I got a few pages done which is good. I havent been able to scrap much with my back bothering me so much lately. And I just keep taking more and more pictures so i can't ever catch up! LOL

I don't purposely not do my blog every day. It honestly just doesnt occur to me. Which is so wierd since i get on the computer every day. And this week I have been on it even more because my back has hurt so bad that I lay in bed after the kids go to bed at 8 with my laptop and my laptop table that lets me lay back flat. But I will try to get better because I love to tell my kid stories and I know some day when I look back on these I will be so happy I wrote them down. Today I helped at the kids school. I have helped once a week since school started but today was a big exciting day for the kids. They had their fundraiser run. M also got to make caterpillars out of marshmellows. Very cute. And on top of that they also had Read to Succeed today where the school encourages the parents to come and read to the class. I use to be really nervous about doing that which is funny considering you are reading to little kids. But I get embarrassed easily. But last year I broke down and did it and was so happy I did, not to mention M was. So my day was jampacked from 730-2 with the kids helping out between the two classes. I love the kids school and i love to be there and see what they do. I started a site for both kids that has pictures on it I take of all the kids so the parents who arent there can see their child. I would want someone to do that for me. All the parents in my kids classes have access to this. I've done it ever since kindergarten for M.
I know there is a reason I am going thru all this back stuff. God has a plan. I just have to figure it out.

Importance of sometimes unspoken words
We don't tell the people we love how much they mean to us. I hope everyone I love knows how much they mean to me.

The boys had their last day of basketball camp. I was really proud of how they have improved over the 5weeks. I love this picture that my friend took.

My comments
I am excited my friend
christie is coming to visit in a couple of days.
The boys are very busy with lots of homework in K and 2nd grade.
B is learning sightwords and got his first book to learn to read today.
They are still doing their bassketball camp which is ending this week.
theyve enjoyed it but i think they need a break from having to rush
home and do homework eat dinner and then run to basketball camp 3xa week.
There was definitely pros to it as they are getting better and more prepared
for the season in November and they are running off some energy on these days.
But I think we will all enjoy a month to only have pinao once a week rather than
a bunch of extracurricular going on. Soemtimes you need a break to just be home,
to ride your bike, to roll around in the fall leaves, go look for pumpkins, throw rocks in the
lake/pond. So that is our goal next week.
My back is not getting any better even after chiro and the next test they want to do puts fear in me since its a painful procedure. I am praying I will be led what to do. In the meantime we must remember to love each day and love our family and friends and relish in the joys they give us.

Sweet thought from a 7yr old
I was remembering at the beginning of the year how much M wanted to raise money forhis teacher to buy a Mobi for the classroom. He came home wanting to put his old toys in hiswagon and walk around the neighborhood trying to sell things and then he'd give the money to her. What a sweet unselfish thought.

Listening
Listening to the boys downstairs this is what I hear...
M, "B, this is a pain in the butt. Get it? Pain in the butt?"
B, "yeah" (as he keeps playing bowling on the wii with his brother)
M, "Get it, I hurt my butt and this is a pain in the butt." (very proud of himself)

I want to be a kid....
The boys wanted to get out of the house and I wanted to check out a possible place for M's bday party. He is wanting a video game party. They ended up loving this place. I had bought a groupon which will save half price on the party which is great. The kids had icecream and videogames. Too be a kid again....

Sweet face
Every night Brian reads to M and I read to B. I keep remembering his sweet face tonight as he told me about school. I told him how proud I am of him doing so good in kindergarten and his face just lit up so proud.
The other night on the way to church M was talking about school. B says, "I love your stories M." Every time I think about that it makes me smile.

B's first play date
Today B had his first playdate after school with his k buddies. At first when i asked him if he wanted to go he said no since a girl's mom was the one planning it. But his buddy ended up going so he changed his mind. Funny thing is he ended up playing with the girls because his buddy was only able to stay for 30min before he had football. It was a good time. Kids all played great. M said to me, "Mom, I fit in with all ages." I was proud of that. Because he does. I got to know some of the moms which was nice. Looking forward to the kindergarten yr. Its so busy starting up the end of this month and keeps on going with activities. Being class mom of both boys classes should be interesting but it makes me feel good to be doing something important since I am not working right now due to my back. I love my boys. I just want to hug them and protect them and keep them this age forever.
