AWWWW

I was just looking for a picture and I noticed this one I had saved of M at a bday party when he was little. AWWWW is all I can say about it. He has always eaten cupcakes like this.

From the heart of a 7yr old

M told me tonight that some day when he is rich that he will open an old folks home for free and a gas station where it costs 25cents to fill up, and a YMCA where it is $10 a month. I thought that was so sweet and I have no idea where he came up with these ideas. He also said he would give me a discount on the gas and YMCA. I said, "I don't get it free because I am your mom ?" and he said, "Noooooo".

My day

This was my day...

Take M to school.

Quickly do a load of laundry, wake other son up, get him ready and

take him to school.

Come home for an hour and quickly clean up and put chicken in

crockpot.

Go pick up son to take to speech.

Take him back to school.

Run to PT.

Scarf down a sandwich.

Run to grocery store to buy cookies I thought I'd have time to make

for parent teacher conferences.

Pick up son.

Pick up other son.

Go to piano.

Run to McD's to drive thru eat.

Go to baseball scrimmage to drop off son.

Run other son to practice.

Run back to scrimmage to catch end.

Get home in time to feed them again.

Thank the Lord for hubby who bathed them, read

and put them to bed so I could type this.

Wrong Mom

B asked me for more chicken nuggets then I knew he could eat so I said, "Your eyes are bigger then your stomach." And he says, "No they aren't mom, your eyes are only this big". (as he shows me with his fingers how big his eyes are!

A 7yr old

M told me tonight that UFO's are real and that people disguise them as their cars so people won't steal them because everyone wants a UFO.

Slumber party

M's 1st official slumber party.

My sweetie

Lunch at Nanoo's. Now M spending night there. B playing Candy Land with his dad. I have been going thru the kids winter clothes, packing some up and unpacking and washing summer stuff. Halleluhia to Spring. B played outside with neighbors since it was so pretty. B keeps saying he misses his brother. When we went to Nanoo's house we got there before M (he spent night with Grandparents) so B layed down on the floor and looked out the window forever waiting for M to get there. He is such a sweet little brother!

Spending night

Tonight at B's grandparents house we were all sitting by the fire and they said he could spend the night. He usually likes to hang out as long as possible and then go home and sleep in mommys bed. So tonight he said he might. Then later he said no. So his daddy says something to the effect of it being ok that he doesn't want to, that when B gets big he will stay the night and B says (matter of factly), "I am big, I just don't want to."

Love ya

At baseball practice Wednesday, B was out on the field and yelled, "Love ya mom!"

My 4yr old

B's speech teacher told me today that she was so impressed with his manners and how she wished all her kids had as good of manners as him.

Weather

I am thankful that it is supposed to be 70's this weekend!

Love you

At baseball practice tonight we practiced in an indoor facility the coach reserved due to the rain. B always tells me that he loves me thru out the whole day so tonight he yells across the inside facility (while he is throwing a ball up in the air a little aways from me) that he loves me and so I tell him I love him too and he doesnt hear me so he yells louder that he loves me until he hears me tell him it back. So cute! All the moms appreciated it!

Thankful for the love my boys give me.

Day

Thankful for the gorgeous day today! Baseball practice, lunch with my 3 loves, shopping for a baseball bat, baseball batting gloves, and practice hitting stick, and then home to practice more baseball! Kids should sleep good today! (and so should their Dad since I am not of much assistance with my back right now!)

Daddy phrase

When I left the house this morning to go to the dr, my 4 yr old says,
"I love you mommy, be careful." (just like his Daddy always tells me when I leave the house.)

Thankful again thoughts

Other then the obvious things to be thankful for, here are some random thoughts.

I am thankful for...

movies and books to get lost in,

nail files,

massages,

flowers for no reason,

pedicures,

hot showers,

a sleeping child,

someone else cooking,

the sun,

the smell of cut grass.

Kid Quotes

Tonight I was asking the boys if some day when they are grownups if they will look back at the scrapbooks I have made for them and remember all the fun times we have had. And B says, "Mom that will be in a 100yrs".

B says to his brother, "M, do the girls chase you at school?"

M, "yes, and sometimes they try to kiss me."

B, "Well, (girls name) gave me an air kiss today".

(And just for the record I was never told this story, I overheard it)

M, "Mom, what are we doing after school today?"

"Going home."

M, "We never do anything."

Me, "Since when?"

M, "Since yesterday."

Sweetie

B started speech and he likes it because mommy picks him up from school in the middle of the day and he gets to play games. He asks his teacher constantly when I will be there!

Baseball season

M started baseball practice tonight. He is playing with 3 friends from his school so he is pretty excited and his dad is assistant coaching which makes it even better! B starts next week. He won't know any of the kids on the team which worries me but atleast his dad will be assistant coach.

School

We got the letter yesterday saying B gets to go to school with M! Yah!!! What a relief and what an accomplishment for B. So proud of him.

Maturity

Blake and I had such a lovely day today. He held my hand everywhere we went to run errands, used his manners, told me how much he appreciates this and that and this and that, said I love you Mom numerous times etc...I am so proud of him and his maturity. The one thing that has come out of me not being able to work the last few months with all this back pain is being with the kids more and having more time to work with B on school and learning. I know God has a purpose for everything.

Family

Gosh, I love my boys. Little B grabbing my hand to hold as we walked to the car after school today. I took the boys to the park after school . I had picked Ainsley up from school too so the 3 of them played on the tireswing. The boys (especially M) love the tire swing. They just twirl it faster and faster till I can't watch them it makes me so dizzy. It was such a beautiful sunny day. Then the kids and I went for a walk on the paths. Again, B held my hand. We stopped to take a picture by a tree and a lady walking her dog asked us if she could take a picture of us for me. She told me what a beautiful family I have. I didn't feel like explaining that Ainsley wasn't mine but it reminded me of what a beautiful family I DO have.

Pride

I am so proud of how B has showed me and his Dad his work he did at school the last two days with pride in his eyes.
